Mission Statement
Possible is a nonprofit healthcare company that delivers high-quality, low-cost healthcare to the world’s poor. We are pioneering a new approach, called durable healthcare, that brings together the best of private, public, and philanthropic models. Since 2008, Possible has treated over 173,000 patients in rural Nepal through government hospitals, clinics, community health workers, and a referral network.

Description
Our model is designed to work fully for the poor in the world’s most impossible places. It creates impact beyond a single site or intervention.
It’s a hub and spoke healthcare unit built within the government’s existing infrastructure. Our team delivers healthcare at a hospital, network of clinics, and via community health workers. And for patients requiring complex care outside this unit, we crowdfund the cost of their care and refer them to urban partner hospitals.
This model design allows us to deliver integrated healthcare aligned with national priorities.
The goals of this model are to spend under $50 per person and improve 6 key health outcomes for an entire population.
