Coaches are needed at Recreation Centers throughout the city. T-ball (K-1st graders) and Coach Pitch (2nd-3rd graders) programs run May-June. These programs focus on developing players' fundamental skills such as throwing, catching, batting, fielding, and teamwork. FUN is stressed along with learning the game of baseball. Most teams practice one hour per week and have games on Saturdays. Orientation for new coaches is provided.
Locations: North Commons Park (1801 James Ave N), Webber Park (4400 Dupont Ave N), Windom NE Park (2251 Hayes St NE), Waite Park (1810 34th Ave NE), Bottineau Park (2000 2nd St NE).
