Work with Audubon’s Teacher/Naturalist on our school field trip program that typically runs from 9 - 12 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the school year.

Our program gives kids the opportunity to experience our amazing Rio Salado Habitat. Volunteer Naturalists assist the program leader by helping to set up the materials for the day, leading the kids on river walks, facilitating the nature discover process and giving kids individual attention if they need help or have questions.

We are conducting a volunteer training session on Sept. 6 th from 9am - 1 pm. Volunteers will be trained in basic natural history of the area and will be introduced to Audubon’s field trip program. Please register in advance if you are interested in this volunteer opportunity.

Volunteers who are interested and willing could also have the opportunity to lead certain sections of the program.
