ORGANIZATION: Friends of the Plymouth Pound

Friends of the Plymouth Pound Cat ADoption Center located in Kingston, MA is seeking volunteers to help out at our cat adoption center.

Volunteers MUST be at least 21 years of age. MUST be able to work independently, MUST be reliable and committment driven.

Duties inlcude but not limited to: cleaning litter boxes, cleaning floors, windows, cat cages. Feeding of animals. Standing, bending, stooping, some lifting for at least 2-3 hours during a shift. Should be able to speak in a mature mannerwhen dealing with the public.

Shfits available are: Wed, Thurs AM 9:30-12:00 noon Sat, Sun PM 3:30-5:00 PM

Established in 1985, Friends of the Plymouth Pound is an all volunteer animal welfare organization dedicated to creating forever homes for displaced animals on the south shore.

Description

Friends of the Plymouth Pound provides medical care, food, housing, creature comforts and lots of TLC to those unfortunate animals that have been displaced due to no fault of their own, until permanent loving forever homes can be found. We are only able to accomplish our goals with the support from volunteers like you, looking to make a difference in the life of a rescued animal. Our adoption center is located at the Independence Mall, Kingston, MA.
