Help youth find academic success! We are in need of volunteers to provide our Teens and Elementary school kids with basic homework help through our "Power Hour" program. "Power Hour" volunteers will be in a group setting, but will be giving one-on-one tutoring assistance. Subjects include basic math, English and science, and you may have subject preference. A degree or teaching experience is not required to volunteer in this program, but enthusiasm and patience is! Through this volunteer experience you will show our Club Members how homework understanding and completion can be engaging and exciting, and will lead to improvement in school. You will gain experience in working with diverse youth and will strengthen your ability to provide specific help to others. "Power Hour" is ongoing throughout the school year and we will work with you to create a schedule that works best for you.
