Want to go to the hottest new show of this Fall's LA Fashion Week for free? Help us out and you're in. Hang 10 posters in any of the following neighborhoods this week and get two complimentary general admission tickets: Hollywood, West Hollywood, Beverly Hills & adjacent, Hollywood Hills, Studio City, Toluca Lake Central LA, Mid-City or West LA.
Pick up posters at our office. Please, get permission first and keep track of where they go up so we don't duplicate efforts. That's it!
A little background on our event: "Inspire" will be a cruelty-free event in conjunction with LA Fashion Week! We've got some of the best up-and-coming designers... plant-based catering by Whole Foods... a fashion show... silent auction... swag bags and more... all at the fabulous W Hollywood. We are an all-volunteer organization! The Animal History Museum is the first museum dedicated to understanding and celebrating the human-animal bond. Its purpose is to serve and educate the public through the creation of a museum in Los Angeles County, California, for the collection, preservation and exploration of the history, culture, science and law relating to the relationship between human and non-human animals; by presenting exhibitions, lectures and other activities that are consistent with, and supportive of, the museum's educational goals and purpose.
Description
Planned exhibits include: human-animal bond, animals & cognition, the history of animals in art, in literature, in TV & Film, and in pop culture, the development of animal welfare, rights & law, animals & religion and vegetarian/vegan food trends.
We also plan to have rotating exhibits, a lecture & film series, a small cafe and a gift shop. Someday we also hope to be able to host conferences, research, etc..
