Women of Worth Thrift Store
Women of Worth is looking for assistance at their thrift shop for positions where there are multiple openings:
1. ReShop resale store clerks:work cash register, greet customers, keep the shelves stocked with merchandise from warehouse, and general up keep of the work environment.
2. ReShop Backroom staff: sort through donations and prepare them for ReShop resale store, receive donations from customers, sort through warehouse and help stock the ReShop with items. General, upkeep in the warehouse, all doors kept accessible, breaker boxes cleared from items, aisles kept clean and free of clutter.
Skills Required:
Basic cash register help; ability to organize, decorate, stand for a few hours at a time, and some lifting. Retail experience a plus.
Where: Women of Worth is located at: 143 Spring Hill Drive, Grass Valley, CA 95949
When: Monday-Friday, 10-5:00 pm, and 10-4:00 pm on Saturdays. Shifts are 3-4 hours

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) provides opportunities for people 55 and over to make a difference in their community through volunteer service. RSVP volunteers contribute anywhere from a few to over forty hours a week, serving through schools, day care centers, police departments, hospitals and other nonprofit and public organizations to help meet critical community needs. RSVP offers maximum flexibility and choice to its volunteers. RSVP matches the personal interests and skills of older Americans with opportunities to help solve community problems and offers supplemental insurance while on duty, and on-the-job training from the agency or organization where volunteers are placed.
