Assist the Ozaukee Fish Passage Program conducting electrofishing surveys at several mainstream Milwaukee River locations in Spring through Fall of 2014, including Klug Lane in Mequon (south of Pioneer Road, Cedar Creek / Milwaukee River Confluence in Cedarburg, Former Lime Kiln Impoundment (Lime Kiln Park) in Grafton, Ehlers Park north of Saukville. We need volunteers for each survey to help transport and operate electrofishing equipment, collect fish, assist with data recording, and have a great time enjoying and learning about the Milwaukee River’s autumn fish community. These surveys will be fun, perhaps challenging, and certainly educational for all involved. We’ll meet on site at approximately 9:30 am and will wrap up during mid-to-late afternoon (depending on how much we catch).
