St. Croix Hospice in St. Cloud MN is looking for volunteers to make our annual Hospice Remembrance Event inviting and sophisticated for family members who have lost their loved ones.
The event will be held November 2014 and connects families back to the St. Croix Hospice care team. The event requires 70- 100 hours of time to design and mail invitations, create and hang decor for ambiance, create and assemble gifts/ tokens, along with imbedding hospice patients' photographs in a film or Power Point design.
To provide scope, the 2013 event involved candle lighting, original song performance and representation of all patients through a wall hanging (325 handmade paper flowers.) Our event in November 2014 will involve making over 300 origami paper cranes.

Originally founded in Minnesota, St. Croix Hospice is named after the St. Croix River. Symbols of change, rivers are restless, sometimes moving swiftly and other times peaceful and nearly still. Like life, rivers are not always easy to navigate, and it’s good to have a guide to help you through the difficult parts. We are here to guide your end-of-life journey with care and compassion.
Our clinical staff are professional, compassionate and award-winning. Our care team includes healthcare experts who believe in the power of hospice care to increase quality of life for all people approaching their final days.
