Are you afraid of commitment? Then fostering is perfect for you! When you foster, you save a life! Foster families are essential to Star Paws' rescue/adoption effort because we have no physical animal shelter. The more foster homes we have, the more adoptable animals we can save. In addition to shelter, foster volunteers help increase the adoptability of their fostered animal by simply socializing the animal in a loving home and helping with basic manners such as walking on leash & house training. We provide all the supplies - food, beds, leashes - all you have to provide is love!! We also handle all pre-approved medical issues.
Both short-term and long-term fosters are welcome! Sometimes we need foster homes for other fosters that are on vacation. We are happy to work with our fosters schedules, but prefer that our fosters are available on Sunday to transport to and/or from the adoptions. Los Angeles area fosters only.

Mission Statement
Star Paws Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving animals in need by finding homes for animals relinquished to shelters or who would be shelter-bound if not for our interception. Our goals are to help decrease the number of animals being euthanized, provide safe, caring and permanent homes for the animals and help raise awareness of the need for spaying and neutering.
