From our art classes to our many events throughout the year (including cultivation cocktails, fundraisers, and student art exhibitions in celebrated galleries), we would like to capture the energy and enthusiasm of the ProjectArt community and translate it into content that can be accessed online. We use pictures in everything from social media and our website, to newsletters and outreach to donors. Ideally, we would love to have short videos as well that tell our story in a simple and legible way. This could be through animation, interviews with our students, teachers, donors, or volunteers, or any other form of compelling visual storytelling. This volunteer opportunity would be particularly great for someone with the technological and social media skills to capture or to share our story.

Mission Statement
ProjectArt's mission is to unleash the power of creativity in every child and change the way the world values arts education.
Description
Using arts education as the primary vehicle to facilitate creative place-making, ProjectArt transforms public libraries into vital cultural hubs that highlight local assets, spur rejuvenation and serve common needs of minority, immigrant and outer-borough communities. By holding free year-round visual art classes for youth with curriculums that are reflective of their traditions and community and by celebrating their work through exhibitions, we create a ripple effect of cultural engagement and community-building.
