We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who enjoy film, meeting new people, and improving their community!

The Philadelphia Film Festival (October 16 to October 26) is an international film festival that welcomes filmmakers and film-lovers from around the world to venues throughout the city for films and special events.

Last year, we screened Academy Award nominated The Broken Circle Breakdown, crowd-pleaser About Time, the groundbreaking Blue is the Warmest Color, and dozens of more films from around the corner and across the globe.

You can see awesome films like these for FREE! All you have to do is volunteer.

To ensure that the festival runs as smoothly as possible, we need the help of dedicated volunteers -- volunteers like YOU -- to work as ushers, box office personnel, and more. Volunteering is an excellent way to meet cinephiles like yourself, gain exposure in the Philadelphia Film Community, and see some amazing movies you may not be able to see anywhere else!

All volunteer positions are all unpaid. However, volunteers will receive ticket vouchers at the end of each shift, which can be redeemed during the Festival and throughout the year.

We encourage all volunteers to attend a Volunteer Training Session. At the Training Session, volunteers will get and overview of the Festival and get the opportunity to sign up for shifts during the Festival.

Training is required for volunteers interested in Box Office or Membership.
