Help families hold onto the memory of a lost loved one by using your talent to sew memory bears. This is a unique volunteer opportunity that can be done on your own time from your own home and the impact on the family members of those we have served is remarkable.
Memory bears are made from the clothing of a patient that has passed away - whether that be a favorite shirt, the nightgown they always wore, or even a T-shirt with their favorite sports team logo. Having something so tangible to remind a family member of their loved one - something they can hold and hug - is incredibly special. Remita Health needs your help to provide this amazing service!
All we ask for is your time and talent - everything else from the clothing to the stuffing is provided to you. We do ask new memory bear volunteers to complete one sample bear.
