Coastal Cleanup Day - Santee's Town Center Community Park
California Coastal Cleanup Day (CCD), hosted by I Love A Clean San Diego, is a statewide beach and coastal and inland waterway cleanup held throughout California each year, part of the largest such cleanup in the country.
We need your help protecting one of the most vulnerable parts of the San Diego River. Join the San Diego River Park Foundation's Clean and Green Team for the annual Coastal Cleanup Day event at Santee's Town Center Community Park. A few short hours spent cleaning up the river here can have a huge impact on all of San Diego's waterways.
No experience is necessary and everyone is invited to join us and take part in our ongoing clean up efforts. We will provide all the tools and supplies, just wear clothes that can get a little dirty. Close-toe shoes are required. Hat and sunscreen are highly recommended. Community service hours verified for those that need them.
For more information, and to RSVP you may go to www.cleanupday.org, call 619-297-7380 or email us at volunteer@sandiegoriver.org.
