Feeding the hungry doesn't have to be sad or stressful. If you love food and cooking, come in and cook for us! Let your style bring a home-cooked touch to our recipes, giving the hungry of Utica something that nourishes the soul as well as the body.
Training is provided and shifts last between 1 and 3 hours. Most cooks commit to once a month-that depends on your schedule.

Mission Statement
Feeding the Hungry in God's Name
Description
We are open seven days a week and all food services are provided by volunteers (75-100 of them each week). We provide over 90,000 meals each year.
We also provide information & referrals, toiletries & hygiene supplies, a community garden with links to others; nutrition & health information/education, etc. All services are provided by volunteers and/or community service organizations in partnership with us.
Our small staff exists to support the work of the volunteers. We provide a place to come in from the cold (or summer heat) and recieve a plate of good food, served with a smile, no questions asked.
