ARTS & SCRAPS is a non-profit organization that recycles industrial materials and uses them for creative learning and fun activities. We'll be creating unique projects with the children attending the "International Tastefest" event held at WCCCD downtown campus. Won't you join us? Volunteers are needed to assist children by offering a smile and encouragement.

For over 30 years, Arts & Scraps has reimagined recycled materials to inspire people of all ages to think, create and learn.
Description
Arts & Scraps is open to the public to stuff bags with safe, accessible recycled industrial materials. We also host educational and curriculum-based field trips, on site workshops for children and adults and create art and curriculum kits for 10 to 35 students. We bring activity tables to events throughout the Metro Detroit Area. Our warehouse uses volunteers of all abilities to sort, pack and prepare materials for our programs and learning kits.
