Opal Center for Arts and Education is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, screen, and manage volunteers for our arts and theater events in Cottage Grove, OR.

Essential Functions:

• Recruit and screen volunteers.
• Work in collaboration with executive director to staff events and regular theater maintence with volunteers.
• Assign volunteers based on event needs, their interest, skills, and qualifications.
• Manage volunteers during our annual events such as the Fashion Show, Film Festival, and the Halloween Show.
• Maintain the volunteer database.
• Help carry out volunteer appreciation
• Must be accessible by email to address issues between meetings.
• Help promote the mission and purpose of the Opal Center for Arts and Education.
