The American Red Cross of Southern Nevada is looking for Volunteers to help work the front desk area of our headquarters. Tasks will include answering phones, recieving mail, assisting staff members with administrative duties, and ensuring the front area is a friendly, positive place.

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its congressional charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.
Description
The American Red Cross serves the Southern Nevada Community in a variety of different capacities. Ninety-seven percent of our workforce is volunteers.
Staff and volunteers have responded to local and national disasters including fires, floods, hurricanes and earthquakes, providing immediate emergency assistance such as food, clothing and temporary lodging.
Last year, 22,780 people were instructed in CPR/First Aid, Lifeguarding and other water safety instruction, Babysitter Training and HIV Awareness.
Your local chapter provide counseling, emergency communications and financial assistance to over 1,000 military service personnel and their families.
We could not provide this assistance without volunteers like you!
