Following Story Tapestries programming experiences, we ask participants to fill out surveys to let us know how we did, what we could improve on, and other helpful tidbits that provide us with quantitative and qualitative data. We have a fabulous tool, SurveyMonkey, to help us analyze this data and transform the mumbo-jumbo of responses into meaningful facts and figures that tell us what to do next and help us tell our donors why they should keep supporting our work. Our problem - young children and other survey takers do not have access to fill out our surveys directly in SurveyMonkey (an internet-based application). We need someone to enter the hand-written responses into the online forms so we have meaningful, useful data! Sound like something you're up for this summer? Email us today!

Email us at administrator@storytapestries.com to let us know if you'd like to help us with this task. We look forward to hearing from you!

About GlobalGiving

Location:

1 Thomas Circle, Suite 800, Washington, DC 20005, US

Mission Statement

Build an efficient, open, thriving marketplace that connects people who have community and world-changing ideas with people who can support them.

Description

GlobalGiving was founded by two former World Bank executives who decided to use the Internet to create a highly efficient marketplace. The GlobalGiving platform enables more funding to reach projects throughout the globe, and, at the same time, provides a more transparent, engaging way for donors to give.
Because we enable donors to give directly to projects, they know exactly where their money is going. Donors can see progress updates on most projects as funding is received and goals are met.

Donations made through GlobalGiving are higher impact because:

  • Money is going directly to a well-defined project versus supporting general operating expenses
  • Projects on globalgiving.com have exposure to thousands of donors, enabling us to aggregate multiple sources of funding for each project
  • Many projects on globalgiving.com are located in the developing world where a little money goes a long way
