The Board of Directors will support the work of the Opal Center for Arts and
Education (OCAE) and provide mission-based leadership and strategic
governance. While day-to-day operations are led by OCAE’s executive director,
the board-executive director relationship is a partnership, and the appropriate
involvement of the board is both critical and expected.

Opal Center at Arcade Theater vitalizes the regional community by offering unique and diverse educational, and cultural programs and opportunities.

We accomplish our mission through creative projects, workshops and programs that inspire learning and creative expression in an environment that values the unique skills and contributions of each individual.
