KCWS is on the hunt for volunteers with a master's or licence in counseling or social work. These volunteers will offer direct client services to women and children staying at our emergency shelter. Through group therapy or individual counseling, these volunteers will assist clients in taking steps towards healing. During these sessions, we are asking volunteers to offer a listening ear and support to victims of domestic vioence. These volunteers will complete training to ensure that they feel comfortable and prepared for direct client interaction.
