Join the American Association for Cancer Research Foundation and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network at PurpleStride Philadelphia taking place on November 1, 2014. The PurpleStride Philadelphia is a family-friendly event that unites the community while raising awareness and support for the fight against pancreatic cancer. The 5k walk/run starts and ends at Memorial Hall, taking participants through beautiful Fairmount Park. Volunteers are needed to help distribute information and materials at the AACR booth. The PurpleStride is a great opportunity to pay tribute to loved ones who have succumbed to the disease, and honor those who are currently fighting pancreatic cancer. Come join us for a day of fun-filled activities!

The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) is the first and largest cancer research organization dedicated to accelerating the conquest of cancer. Our mission is to cure cancer through research, education, communication and collaboration.
