ORGANIZATION: After the Harvest

Help us pick corn at a farm 20 minutes south of O.P., KS. We'll be there every Monday and Saturday, (7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.) through August 23. The farmer has donated 20 acres to feed people in need. We are an organization of just 2 people, so please help us save this perfect food to feed hungry children and adults.

Mission Statement

After the Harvest rescues nutritious fruits and vegetables from going to waste and donates them to agencies that serve hungry people, primarily in Greater Kansas City.

Description

Our volunteers glean after the harvest, picking what’s left in farmers’ fields and picking up already harvested leftover produce and distributing them to local food pantries and food banks that serve the great KC metro. After the Harvest, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
