Urban Campout 2018
Join us on Friday, Sept. 14, for a very special "Mad About Science" celebration -- Girl Scouts San Diego's annual fun fundraiser for grown-ups!
Last year, more than 500 party-goers enjoyed an exciting event... and helped us keep Girl Scouting available and affordable for more than 27,500 local girls.
Girl Scouts takes safety seriously, whether for adults or girls. As a safety precaution, first aid volunteers oversee our first aid station throughout the event to ensure the safety of our volunteers and event guests.
First aid volunteers should be first aid and CPR certified through the Red Cross or other reputable institutions. This is a great volunteer role for nurses, doctors, EMTs, or others with a medical background OR for anyone who has taken certification within the last year. Volunteer will complete a free background screening online with Girl Scouts prior to the event.
