Mission Statement

Diablo Diamond Girls Softball is a non-profit youth sports organization dedicated to teaching softball fundamentals and life skills through good sportsmanship, leadership, positive coaching, and peer and parent communication. As a part of the Pittsburg/Bay Point community for over 35 years, we strive to contribute by providing the best athletic learning and sharing environment to the families of Pittsburg/Bay Point. It is our goal to prepare girls to learn and play the game of softball in a fun, healthy and safe environment. We emphasize the importance of respect for teammates, opponents, coaches and officials. We not only strive to teach game skills, but life skills, as well as building lasting relationships with good friends. We want every player’s experience to lead her back to play year-after-year with DDGSL.

Description

Diablo Diamond Girls Softball League (DDGSL) is the official softball program for Pittsburg Baseball Softball Association (PBSA). We are a Little League, Pony and ASA affiliated FASTPITCH SOFTBALL recreation league. The league draws primarily from the cities of Pittsburg, Bay Point, and surrounding communities in East Contra Costa. Our programs has been serving the people in Pittsburg and Bay Point area for the past 35 years. PBSA offers baseball, softball and Challenger programs for children ages 4 - 18 years old.

Our program is centered around teaching children the fundamental of baseball and softball; developing critical thinking and decision making skills which will help guide their futures. We also provide an a safe, secure environment for children to have FUN!!!!
