Help Blossom to build a first-of-its-kind, 1000-year organization whose overriding purpose is to grow abundantly fruitful people. Blossom Care Network (BCN) is starting where there is the greatest need, with children who are escaping from the abuse, torture and slavery that is sexual trafficking. But before long, BCN will take the model of care developed with this population and apply it to other children in need. This position assists the Executive Director in accomplishing day-to-day recurring management tasks and communications, helping Blossom Care Network to build Colorado's first therapeutic foster care services network specifically for children rescued from sex trafficking. The "ideal" candidate is a highly organized individual, capable of rapidly acquiring new skills, and maintaining regular communications with varied stakeholder groups. They will also contribute to the tactical decision making of Blossom. This person must live in the Denver area and be able to meet regularly. Blossom Care Network, in partnership with Maple Star Colorado (the state's premier trauma-informed child placement agency) and others, is building a network of trauma trained foster families, dedicated volunteers and professionals to: 1. grow the state’s therapeutic foster care capacity, 2. provide services that improve quality foster care outcomes, and 3. offer post-foster care education and career opportunities; until all of Colorado’s abused & neglected children have the chance to blossom. Beyond this, Blossom will develop a very unique and highly scalable business structure called Blossom Enterprises which will revolutionize the social enterprise sector through its culture, products and services, and will enable Blossom Care Network to operate without financial worry. You will have the opportunity to help build Blossom into the world’s largest business of its kind and to touch the lives of millions of people on a daily basis; a business whose final product is exceptionally high quality people, but that engages in a variety of innovative enterprises to reach this end.
