Volunteers will work with refugee youth at least two times a week to teach basic reading and writing. These are mostly Afghan children who are not literate in their native language and are going to middle and high school. The volunteers would tutor at the apartment complex and do their lessons in a common area. There are about 20 children living in this apartment complex, so we are in need of at least two volunteers to split the group into two groups of ten. No teaching experience requried, just patience and a positive spirit!
