Can one week make a difference in the life of a child? Absolutely! iCan Bike Camp is coming to Kenmore Middle School from July 27th through 31st. The camp is designed to teach children with disabilities how to ride a bicycle. As a volunteer with iCan Bike you can help a child with a disability learn to ride a two-wheeler independently in only five days!

You will be matched with a child with whom you'll work the entire week. Your job is to provide encouragement and support to the child as he or she learns to ride on specially designed bikes.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old, and have sufficient stamina and strength to walk/run alongside a bike for 60 minutes. We are looking for people who can commit to one or more time blocks for the entire week (8:30-9:45 am, 10:05-11:20 am, 11:40 am-12:55 pm, 2:00 pm - 3:30pm and 3:35 pm - 4:55pm).

Once you are placed as a volunteer for this program, you will be sent a survey which must be completed before you can begin volunteering.

We require volunteers to attend an orientation session on Sunday afternoon, July 26 from 3-4:30 p.m. at Kenmore Middle School in Arlington.
