Take your passion for cooking and nutrition to teach foster youth skills in cooking. Teach a child how to prepare healthy and nutritional meals at a low cost using seasonal ingredients. Help to provide valuable life skills to prepare them for aging out of foster care and being self - sufficient. For a few hours each week you can help abused, abandoned and neglected children learn food hygiene, food safety and develop smart food shopping skills. Classes are taught in group homes and in community kitchens. Background checks and training are provided.
