Mentor an At-Risk Adolescent

Description

NCCF is looking for caring and committed individuals who want to help traumatized youth develop talent, skill, and confidence. NCCF mentors work with youth (ages 12 to 18) from three of our programs: the Greentree Adolescent Program (GAP), Greenleaf Treatment Foster Care Program (GTFC), and the Futurebound Independent Living Program (FILP).

Skills

  • Must be at least 21 years old, possess energy, patience, sensitivity to youth, dependability and flexibility. Also, must be mature and possess a professional work attitude. All interested parties need to attend an orientation and training, and have a criminal background check. We do ask for a year's commitment.
