Rest Stop Volunteers
Get your group together, pick a theme, and join us as a rest stop volunteer on Saturday or Sunday!

Challenge Walk MS: Chesapeake Challenge is a 2-day event where participants walk 50k through Maryland's scenic Eastern Shore. We need volunteers to host rest stops along the route to help keep our walkers safe, healthy and motivated. You will hand out snacks and drinks and cheer and provide encouragement.

On Saturday, September 6, walkers use the Cross Island Trail in Kent Island, just across the Bay Bridge. On Sunday, September 7, walkers will travel through downtown Easton.

People affected by MS can live their best lives as we stop MS in its tracks, restore what has been lost and end MS forever.

Description

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society funds more MS research, offers more services to people with MS, provides more professional education programs and advances more MS advocacy efforts than any other MS organization in the world. Through its home office and fifty-state network of chapters, the National MS Society provides assistance to over a million people annually in its continuing mission to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis.

The Society also engages volunteers to help influence law-makers at the federal, state and municipal levels toward legislation important to people with MS.
