  • What a rare opportunity to assist with such an international event with over 90 countries represented! Event is similar to the Olympics.
  • Opening Ceremony for the World Shoot will begin as the Parade of Nations concludes at the Lake Mirror Center/Prominade. There will be a staged cereomonial presentation along with assigned stadium seating for international competitors from over 90 countries and their families. The general public will also be in attendance, bring their lawn chairs/blankets.
  • Greeters/Usher will welcome the participants as they arrive at Lake Mirror and direct them to their assigned seats. At the close of the ceremony, they will also direct the participants to their awaiting motor coaches that will return them to their cars at the Lakeland Center.
  • The Opening Ceremony will be held on Sunday Oct. 12.

  • The handgun competition for the World Shoot will actually take place elsewhere in the county on a different day. This event is to officially kick-off the festivities!
