Passionate about sustainabilty? Love being crafty and creative? Come volunteer at SCRAP Humboldt! SCRAP Humboldt is a project of SCRAP, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to inspire creative reuse and environmentally sustainable behavior by providing educational programs and affordable materials to the community. Are you a retired teacher? Volunteer with our Education Program. Do you love organizing? Volunteer in our Materials Department. As a nonprofit creative reuse center, volunteers are essential to the services that SCRAP Humboldt offers. Volunteers help at events, work in the shop, sort donations and so much more!

Description
SCRAP Humboldt collects discarded materials that can be reused. Hard to recycle materials such as corks, bottle caps and cd cases are given a new life. SCRAP also holds educational classes, workshops and school programs to help teach the commuinty about sustainablity and creative reuse.
