No child should be subject to child abuse or neglect. Prevent Child Abuse Virginia is a statewide non profit organization whose mission is to end child abuse and neglect in our commonwealth. We are looking for energectic young professionals between the ages of 21 - 35 who are eager to make a difference in their community. Our office is based in Richmond but we are open to anyone from around the state. As a member of the young professionals committee you will have the opportunity to network with other young professionals while coordinating activities to raise awareness in our state.

Description
Prevent Child Abuse Virginia, a statewide, private, nonprofit organization, leads a coalition of independent, affiliated agencies and Healthy Families sites across the state. We believe that child abuse and neglect can be prevented by providing support and information to families and children. We strive to strengthen Virginia's families as the statewide leader, educator, advocate and coordinator of initiatives addressing the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect.
