This opportunity is great for groups who love to cook, serve, and watch others enjoy a meal! The role would involve preparing, setting up, and serving breakfast for 30 individuals attending the StepUp Jobs Workshop. Volunteers would need to arrive at 7:45 at the StepUp office and the volunteer time would wrap up by 8:45. Typical meals include breakfast breads and pastries, biscuits - plain or with sausage and egg, fresh fruit, breakfast casseroles, and juice. Dates for the meals are 7/18, 8/1, 8/15, 8/29. 9/12, 9/26, 10/10, 10/24, 11/7, 11/21, and 12/12. This is a fun way for a group that loves to cook to share their talent with those in need!

StepUp staff and volunteers assist single adults, couples and families who have educational, employment and housing needs. Program participation includes a phased, incentive-driven curriculum that encourages spirituality, self-awareness and connection as building blocks to success.
