KCWS has opportunities for groups that are interested in sponsoring a drive or group project for our shelter. This is a great way for businesses, organizations or teams to serve their community, working alongside their peers in an effort to make a difference. When volunteers offer their assistance with large projects around our facilities, staff members can better focus their time and attention on helping our clients get the help they need. Group Projects include: lawn maintenance, weed pulling, cleaning, painting, organizing and maintaining or cleaning the pet kennel. Contact our volunteer coordinator if you are interested in setting up a group service project with KCWS.
