JAPANESE STUDENTS HERE ONLY 10 DAYS--WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HOST, DRIVE AND HELP IN CLASS AND ON ACTIVITIES--COME JOIN THE FUN!
If you would like to host here is more information
- You choose a student (or two) from the applications (pictures & letters from students included)
- The kids have had classroom English but have had little the chance to practice speaking it!
- FAMILIES PROVIDE:
- Conversation in an American home
- A place to sleep from
- Dec. 26 to Jan. 6 (temporary beds available)
- Meals (breakfast, dinner, and a sack lunch) Students stay for only 10 days.
- Your children and family are welcome in the classroom - and to join us on any and every field trip!
- FAMILIES DON’T PROVIDE:
- Spending money
- Extensive "showing around" (the kids are shown around the area through the program)
- Anything fancy - we're going for a genuine American cultural exchange. Students attend daily language classes and go sight seeing around the Bay Area
