Veteran Volunteer Oppurtunities in Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Monttgomery and Philadelphia Counties
Bayada Hospice has a special purpose to help our veterans at the end of life to have comfort, independence, and dignity. With our Veteran to Veteran Volunteer program, you can make a positive difference in the life of a fellow Veteran.
Veteran volunteers are essential to the delivery of excellent hospice care as they share a distinct culture, can form strong relational bonds, and can provide unique support to other Veterans.
Volunteer Oppurtunities Include:
Compainionship through playing cards/board games, conversation, life review, emotional support, light housekeeping.
Providing caregivers a much needed break
Participating in patient and community pinning ceremonies honoring Veterans.
