Special event volunteers assist library staff at fairs and special events throughout San Diego. They must enjoy talking and interacting with people.
Activities
1. Assist library staff at events at Central Library and other locations (may include outdoor locations)
2. Engages and talks to public
3. May include setting up and breaking down events
Desired Qualities
1. Works well with the public
2. Supportive and passionate about the library
3. Background check required
4. Minimum age: 15
Training and Support
Training will be provided.
Time Commitment
6 months, 3 hours/month

Central Library in downtown San Diego is seeking volunteers for its brand new building at 330 Park Blvd. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking project and make a difference in your community!
