Here at the Durham Arts Council we are gearing up for our largest event of the year, The CenterFest Arts Festival. This juried arts festival will bring 140 visual artists from across the country as well as a variety of performers and vendors to the Downtown Durham area for a weekend of food, music, community, and most importantly, beautiful art. In order to ensure that this event is a success, we typically request around 300 volunteers to work in a variety of areas throughout the festival.
This year’s festival will be held on September 20th and 21st. Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the festival as well as the Friday beforehand to assist with preparation.
