On Saturday, June 27th, from 10am to 1pm Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center will host a free public event called Day of Play. This event will include healthy cooking, gardening, crafts, physical activities and more for families!
Volunteers to help with programming implementation and clean-up. The majority of their time will be spent working outside, helping our leaders to run activities with the kids. Volunteers will not have to be experienced teachers but they will have to be comfortable working with children. They will be on their feet in the sun, so they will need to plan accordingly. We will of course offer water and chances to take breaks.
