We are a non-profit program that has been running since 1981! Our program, Volunteer Chore Services is designed to assist low-income disabled adults and seniors with chore services that help them remain independent within their own homes. We are currently looking for individuals to assist with yard care services, building wheel chair ramps and individuals who can provide light housekeeping chores. Volunteers are reimbursed for mileage and set their own timeframes and schedules! If you want to make a difference and help those who are unable to help themselves than look no further! We work with individuals who volunteer at all ages and groups as well. Give an hour this month and bring hope to a life.

Description
Volunteer Services, a program of CatholicCharities, provides basic in-home assistance to low-income elders and adults with disabilities to help them continue living independently, safely, and with dignity in the comfort of their own homes. The generosity of our volunteers brings opportunities and hope to individuals who are often isolated and in need of kindness and support. We offer both individual and group opportunities to provide transportation, light housekeeping, yard care and more. All volunteers receive training, optional mileage reimbursement, liability and ongoing support to make sure the volunteer experience is rewarding for all. Catholic Charities is a state contracted 501-C3 and provides services to all who qualify regardless of race, religion or creed.
