Help us tell our story by using your skills as a photographer to promote Santa Cruz Public Library programs and events

Qualified applicants must:

  • be reliable, creative, and committed to community engagement;
  • use his/her own DSLR camera (not an iPhone) in order to provide high resolution images;
  • have experience in photographing public events;
  • provide digital examples of their work;
  • have experience using photo editing programs and know how to upload photos;
  • work independently and in collaborative environments;
  • be approachable and personable with good communication skills;
  • demonstrate eagerness to engage with the community and learn about library programming and events;
  • have reliable transportation to various branches.
