This image was selected to help you better understand our mission and our vision at KCWS. Our desire is to help you see what we see very single day. First, the woman and her child represent those we serve. The etched glass is meant to help you see safety and protection. The butterfly symbolizes encouragement, hope, and new beginnings. The child reaching for the butterfly represents the strong desire of those we serve to reach for new life!

We are asking volunteers to provide both indirect and direct services to help victims of domestic violence. The work volunteers do at KCWS makes a difference in the lives of women, children, and their pets. Volunteers with KCWS complete an educational training program and are then asked to examine their talents and interests to find a volunteer position that is right for them. Our community supports KCWS to take a stand against domestic violence. We have a place for everyone from administrative work, to client interaction, to group drives and service projects. Email our Volunteer Coordinator or call our administrative office at 830-331-8950.
