The Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter's REC Center is designed to meet the unique needs of people in the earliest stages of Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. We provide opportunities to participate in meaningful experiences in a welcoming community environment.

Volunteers work with staff to ensure worthwhile and smooth experiences for REC participants. Tasks include socializing with participants and participating in arts and culture outings.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Description

The Chapter is dedicated to providing services to persons with Alzheimer's disease or dementia, their families and their caregivers. Services include a 24/7 Helpline, support groups, education sessions, and the Medic Alert + Safe Return ID program.
