Last Chance is planning to bring pups to three locations on Saturday November 29 and we are seeking puppy-loving volunteers to help us find homes for our dogs. We will be bringing the pups to the following locations:

Maryland locations

Glen Burnie PetSmart located at 24 Mountain Rd, Glen Burnie, MD

Virginia locations

Alexandria PetSmart located at 3351 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Alexandria, VA

Alexandria Petco located at 6612 Richmond Hwy., Alexandria, VA

A Last Chance transport will arrive with the dogs and pups between 11:30- 11:45. Once the transport arrives volunteers are assigned a dog, given a name tag with your name and the dog’s name and you are given the dogs information. You will receive the dog’s bio containing all of their information and for the duration of the event volunteers walk "their" pup around and talk to potential adopters. Anyone interested in adopting is directed to the information table where we have adoption counselors who handle all the paperwork. Throughout the event we have staff members and experienced volunteers available to help our new volunteers with any questions or concerns. The age requirement for this event is 14 years of age with and active adult participant and all volunteers over 16 years of age volunteer on their own.
