We are looking for veteran volunteers for our Veterans Caring for Veterans program at Gentiva Hospice. There are many ways you can help as a Veteran Hospice Volunteer, including: Participating in veteran recognition ceremonies. Providing companionship and socialization through reminiscing with patients. Serve as a Veteran Consultant/ Military Expertise Volunteer on issues and projects concerning the military. Assist in organizing medals, citations, awards, pictures, paperwork, etc.

Volunteers are specifically needed to visit hospice patients in the South County area, St. Louis, MO 63129. Volunteers are also needed at Missouri Veterans Home located at 10600 Lewis and Clark Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63136. Comprehensive training and orientation for hospice volunteering is provided.
