A house at 1215 N. Wabash Avenue is being rehabbed by Habitat volunteers in partnership with Kyle Malone, the future homeowner. The house construction is being sponsored by the 2 local Disciple of Christ churches, but we can use the help of more people to complete the house! Work continues every Saturday this summer from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 4 p.m.

The mission of Habitat for Humanity of the Kokomo Community is based on the Biblical imperative of love for others, justice, and concern for the needy.
Description
Habitat works toward hope and dignity for all in need and the elimination of poverty housing from the earth.
We achieve our mission one home at a time as we partner with families in need, and individuals and organizations in our community. Together we build houses using volunteer labor and the monetary and in-kind donations of the community. The houses are sold to partner families through a no-profit, no-interest mortgage.
