Christopher Park, in the heart of Greenwich Village, is enclosed by a wrought-iron fence hand-crafted more than 140 years ago. Unfortunately, the fence is in dire need of TLC to remove rust and flaking paint and apply a new protective coat to help it last another 100 years. This is a perfect project for groups of 5-25 people. And there's no better place than in the heart of the West Village -- and home to the only statue honoring the gay rights movement in America. Won't you join us?
The park is home to the only statue honoring the birth of the Gay Rights Movement in America, making it popular with tourists and residents alike.
