Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department is looking for individuals interested in being a volunteer youth, noncompetitive cheerleading coach for girls ages 7-13 for the upcoming fall season. Anyone that is interested in this opportunity and in making a difference in our participants’ lives now is your chance!
Coaches are needed at the following sites:
- Biltmore Hills
- Green Road
- Laurel Hills
- Lions
- Millbrook Exchange
Practices are a 2-4 day commitment before games begin, and 1-2 day a week once games begin. Games can be one-two times a week and could require some traveling to Lions Park and/or Buffaloe Road.
All coaches are required to coaching application and clear a background check in order to volunteer. Also, coaches will need to attend a draft to select participants for their squad on Saturday, August 2 at 9am.
